Extreme storm chasers Jim Edds and Jeff Gammons traveled to South Padre Island Inlet in Texas to intercept the landfall of Hurricane Alex. While filming with his trademark surge cam, Jim is at one point washed away by the powerful storm surge! Later, they encounter some tense moments as the surge washes away the road beneath their vehicle! !
